1. New Version 1.1 Availible soon, the Source is here now!

UPDATE: VERSION 1.1 is OUT NOW!

This morning while trying to find something to do so I don’t have to study, I did some work on Cryptr I wanted to do for a long time.

    • Code Cleanup
    • Better error checking
    • Growl support

After finishing my studies now for today I decided to check everything in (since it still seemed as good as this morning ;)). I don’t have the time to release a new Binary Version right now but It will come soon, via Sparkle as always, so stayed tuned.

Besides that, I finally felt it was worth releasing the Source Code, so this can be checked out at BitBucket.

Have fun and stay tuned for the Update.

  2. Now hosting on Amazon S3

Cryptr is now hosted on Amazon S3, so to keep up to date download the new Version at https://sideshowcodercryptr.s3.amazonaws.com/Cryptr_1.0.6.dmg

  3. Small Bug fix release

Version 1.0.5 is out which fixes a bug which caused folders to be accepted to Cryptr which do not work with the Crypto Engine used.

Also the Path now changes correctly after Encryption and Decryption.

  4. New Cryptr 1.0: Menubar Option availible now!

Just released Cryptr 1.0 with the additon that it now can be a Menubar entry instead of lurking around in the Dock all the Time.

Go and Check your Updates … gogogo!

  5. New Features in the works

Next week finally some new features for cryptr will be coming up:

    1. Added Option for Cryptr to be in the Menubar instead of the Dock
    2. Put encrypted file on the Clipboard instead of the Source Folder

This should really make the Cryptr experience more fluid and usefull since it’s easier to just encrypt something and Send it of.

Hopefully this will be done by the end of next week, like always updates will of course be pushed out via Sparkle, so now need to be worried of missing it!
